Trend: Hole-Punched Denim

Designer: House of Holland Spring 2009 RTW

Though House of Holland is only presenting their second collection, I must say I'm rather frustrated.

Their Fall 2008 RTW was admirable, original and quirky.

Their Spring collection portrayed all the same characteristics - but not in a good way. It was too much of Beverly Hills 90210 meets Driving Miss Daisy.

The only thing I found myself lusting after were the Hole-Punched Jeans. Yes, it seems to be a rather odd trend, but one that I find interesting and ecclectic. It puts a new spin on the ripped jeans- effect (though nothing can ever beat ripped jeans). It's a cuter, more immature way of destroying denim.

Not bad!
